The Coming: Differences

I opened my eyes to the sounding darkness around me while I blinked and yawned, feeling drowsy within every minute of my life. I got up and swing my tail, glancing around of my surroundings wondering where I am. With thoughts circling within my head, I began to walked towards the table in front of me and grabbed what I had believed to be was a gun. Shocked and beyond belief, I stepped back and gasped as I heard another groan bestial beside me. I turned and noticed him, as he picked himself up and walked over the same way as I had done it. My head was starting to hurt and I squinted my eyes growling. "What was the pain coursing through my veins?" I had wondered silently to myself while I held my paw to the side of my head. I keep on hearing voices, my disappearing brother lost within the games that I was here now. "Damn Wolfdragons… thinking that they owned the place" I growled with anger as my voice was of a whisper I stared onto the ground and grabbed hold onto the pistol in front of me. There was another pistol next to me and I watched it pondering if I should take it or not; but I turned my head over to my competitor to the name whose goes as Swaz. I eased up and sighed, before relaxing my muscles and stepped back with a changed grinned. "Who are you?" I questioned him raising the pistol onto his head. He turned to me without saying anything as his eyes staggered upon me. I smirked and shifted the pistol away from his forehead shooting the wall behind him. "I'll say it again…" I replied more demanding as I raised the pistol onto his head again "Who are you?" "The name's Swaz… I don't know how I got here much like how you did as well-" "Cut the talk." I shouted at him.

Both of us fell to silence as our eyes stared well onto one another. I growled, but my breath was sharp and quick as I wondered pondering of what was going through my mind after all. Snapping my tongue, I raised shifting my eyes to him. But he was so fast in taking my gun that I hadn't realized it at all and I gasped widening my eye as I saw my own pistol raised. He smirked back and responded, "How does it feel to be the prey now?" "Damn you…" I responded as he giggled and returned the gun to me. Again silence, I sighed and glanced behind me looking upon the three computers station there; all three of them were closed and perhaps out of commission. I turned quickly to Swaz he was busily playing at the corner of the room, thinking to himself. I grinned silently, walked up to him as he turned his head, and blinked; I dropped down and asked "So what's your story then?" "It's best for you to not know it…" Swaz says without reply leaving me in the darkness; I sighed and nodded as we fell silent again. Both doors on either side of us were shut tight preventing us from exiting the room as we had wished too, even wished we had wanted to. But as I stared back onto the table once again, the door behind us opened forcing us to whip our heads around and noticed a purple blackish wolfdragon who had an unhappy mouth to begin with. He started walking towards the three computers ahead of us and stayed to silent. As he closed his eyes, he began to raised his claw overtop the monitor as the three computers spring to life then someone came up as we all gasped again as we got up to our feet. The one behind the computer monitor was Tsalagi, the pink wolfdragon who had a dark history behind her. Something she had wanted to forget about. but why was the two wolfdragons working together? Don't they hated each other?

As we stand in silence, Tsalagi smirked and pushed back her chair so we could see her in her full form. Her pink wings were spread as she wore that merciless grin on her face. Her eyes were narrowed, she looked as if she wanted to kill someone perhaps even us. But I paid no attention to what her words were as I roared and rushed out onto the computer monitor; smashing against the keyboard while I snarled as I was behind held back; "Where is my brother, Tsalagi? You've promised me!" She chuckled and said nothing; as she turned her face towards me. Tsalagi fell to silence before her wings were folded once again and pushing her chair forth she whispered to me then the purple wolfdragon pushed me back where I collided with the wall and nearly passed out as she concluded, "Make it to the end without being killed by what I had unleashed… Think of it as a elimination game where only one can survive; Good luck to both of you." Then the monitor was off and along with it the purple wolfdragon was gone like the wind. I was startled as the lights had dimmed down; both doors were opened and Swaz slowly picked himself up and walked towards the other door looking down at the room before of him; he spoke whispering to me "We only have a few seconds to prepare; let's get read-" "Why should I listen to you, you listen to me now. I order around here-" "Whatever you say…" Swaz smirked drawing his gun as we waited in silence.

We exchanged silence as our eyes turned to one another. Neither of us said anything before we shifted our eyes to the door behind us. Staring into the dark watching the silent dimmed flickering lights flashed the room for only a moment, I gulped nervously my thoughts went back to what had Tsalagi had spoken to us about the monster that we both were going to face and run from as we shoot. "What was it? Why the gun?" I wondered to myself, gripping the trigger of the pistol tightly while I squinted and stared onto the doorways before me. I turned my attention towards Swaz who was humming behind me, grinning to himself. For I don't know what was going through that kid's mind, I do know however that we have to survive whatever that those wolfdragons were going to bring to us. As I sighed to silence and walked towards the opposing door; leaning forth and stared down into the darken dimmed hallway wondering about as to how we're going to escape. Ahead of us was four doors; each of them were opened and beyond of those four doors stood several windows. Perhaps they were shortcuts, I don't know. But walking out into the darken hallway, giving up the light that were in of my eyes I heard something in the distance like an alarm or something sounding through the rooms. That was then I heard something faint into my ears; I slowly turned my attention towards Swaz whose eyes were widen as golden apples and he seems to be stuck on the door.

With his arm held out onto the doorknob, I could tell he was breathing fast and tense as if something bad was coming after us. I gritted my fangs and started for the hallway but my paw prevented me from going further out and I was left there with my eyes to Swaz as I growled and snapped back my tongue; I knew I was going to do something drastic in my life nevertheless, he's in danger. I quickly darted for him, throwing my paws out while I grabbed hold onto his body and crashed onto the floor with him. I heard a rumble and the floors had started to shake as I got up and grabbed his paw; I made a break for it towards the door and exited out into the hallway. When presented with four doors, I quickly chose the quickest one and went inside without being doubtful of myself. For as I ran straight to the windows before me, crashing through them as the windows had started to shatter around me. I gasped, yelling while we fell allowing the gravity to push us down at a faster pace. I braced myself, I felt something behind me that wrapped around of my waistline, but I paid no attention towards it. For when we fell onto the ground and smacked our faces against the ground, I passed out I don't know how. I felt something touched my ankles and pulled me over, there was panting I've heard yet it seems almost familiar. While someone began to steer me towards the unknown, I stirred and groaned. Opening my eyes slightly, I blinked and glared around of my surroundings quickly noticing that the buildings were dark and errie. Fog began to rolled in the further we went into the depths of darkness. I called out to him, he hadn't paid heed to my attention and continued down the straight road while I heard in the distance something rumbling.

Was it charging to us? I don't know, yet it was impossible to process this information due to the fog that was around us. I growled and wagged my tail, hitting my partner behind me as he turned and almost dropped my body to the ground surprised yet startled. For when my feet touch the ground, my paw raised onto my side as I growled to him grabbing hold onto his fur and pulled him back shortly before getting back onto my feet. I sighed, my ears flickered in the silence. I hear him in the distance, it seems he was ready to attack both of us somehow. Where the roars pierced against our ears, I widen my eyes and glared back growling at Swaz "Run." And we did. Running straight into the fog we got without looking back. We could hear the roars emerging in the distance as the fog continued to rolled in between us, we both were panting almost out of breaths as I growled narrowing my eyes. I ran far as my legs could carry me, my tail wagged suddenly but I myself didn't look back for I was worried that something there might be able to kill us. Questions burst into my head while I kept to silent, sealing my mouth for as long I could I steal a glace behind of me, something that I myself shouldn't have done. That's when I saw it. Golden yellow eyes roaring above me with its eyes staring down onto the puny fox such as myself. I almost stopped and nearly soiled myself; if it weren't for Swaz who quickly grabbed my tail and pulled me along with him for the ride. I stood like a statue like a delivery man delivering his goods to the citizens and customers of the country. He kept on running; panting and almost out of breath. We both knew that we're going to run out of energy quite soon despite of our early lead jumping down from a two story building. I gritting my fangs, I tried to move but my body refuses to while I heard someone shouted behind of me. I  shifted my eyes away spotting Swaz who grinned, dropping my tail where it hang onto the ground he dashes forth inside of an unknown building and entered, leaving me here with the monster out in the opened. I heard a door slammed and a locked; I cried this is how I end.

I shifted my eyes back onto the fog before me. Somehow I can move, but not a lot as my frozen paws and feet were still inactive of doing anything possible. I growled and turned myself around just by jumping or hoping in place. With only three maneuvers, I saw the building and grinned while I somehow lifted up my feet raising it from the grounds of where it was planted and crashed it onto a new place as I repeated myself once again. Until my legs and feet warmed up, I found myself dashing towards the door and grabbed hold onto it. Opening it from the outside, I flung myself in and crashed onto the ground where my tail flung high into the air. My ears flickered, I began to hear something and the ground continued to rumble louder than it was previous. I shot to my feet and jumped over the desk where the cash register was and grabbed hold onto the safe door shortly ahead. But it was locked; I growled and bang my hand against the surface of the door shouting to my partner, Swaz as the thing or figure approached the door; his eyes stared onto me and his grumble was heard. Smoke risen from his nostrils as I gasped widening my eyes. My heard pounded against my chest as I stared onto the figure standing before of me, I had soiled myself. I stepped back from the door; panicked was risen from my body as the heat replaced the cold feeling deep within my body I glanced at the figure and stood perfectly still. We waited like this for a very short time until the safe door beside me was opened and a paw reached out touching my fur and grabbed hold onto me. Pulling me inside, the door was shut but the lights were dimmed as I growled and shifted my paw above of my eye looking with squinted eyes around.

For there I saw, Swaz together with another fox and I sighed in relief dropping my body down behind the safe door. My heart raced against my chest, I felt as if I ran a marathon somehow. But I was glad I was alive and well. Where a paw reached out onto me, I glanced up and smiled at him while he chuckled and I grabbed hold onto his paw. Lifting me up, he asked "I am Itz. You are?" "Krizo." I responded with glee and he smiled at him without any hesitation while Swaz wagged his wolf tail and smirked back onto me. With a howl emerging from Swaz, signifying that the contest was over, I relaxed and so did Itz as we sat down beside one another upon the corner of the well. We talked about ourselves and what we did; even laughing at the stupid or embrassing stuff we had done upon this contest. However, the more that I think about the word 'Contest' in associated to the game we're playing right now. I felt that it was more than a contest… It was about survivial.

Two animals; a fox and a wolf were placed into an abandon unknown building that neither of them had ever recognized. For this reason, they were told to play a game with the mysterious faction and a psychotic WolfDragon. The rules are simple and easy to follow; but with this rules imply can the pair settled their differences with one another and make it to the end?
